Do you have trouble keeping houseplants alive? Or would you like to add to your collection of greenery? Come learn to crochet the unique Brain Cactus to display in your home or office! Safety eyes will be available if you'd like to give your cactus pot a cute face too.
In this class you will learn to crochet in the round starting with a magic ring, increase, crochet in front or back loops only, and do some simple seaming to finish it all.

Prerequisites

  • Slip Stitch
  • Chain
  • Single Crochet

This is NOT an absolute beginner class. Please be aware that class time will not be spent on reteaching the aforementioned prerequisites.

Supplies to Bring

  • F/3.75 mm crochet hook
  • 1 Removable stitch marker
  • Tapestry needle

  • Yarn bundle: 3 colors of Cascade Anthem.

Class Policies

The schedule presented is the available time for the instructor. If you are unable to attend a class session, a 1:1 lesson can be scheduled at an additional cost.

Refunds for cancellations will be available with a $15 administration fee. Yarncom must be notified a minimum of 24 hours before the first session begins if you will not be attending. Refunds will not be available for cancellations within 24 hours of the first session. You may reschedule your class up to 24 hours before the first session if the class is offered at another time. Exceptions at management discretion.

Julie learned to crochet and knit as a child, and has been dedicated to fiber arts for more than 15 years as an adult. She especially loves knitting sweaters and crocheting amigurumi. She is a mom of three, and her children have given her many new ideas for projects. She loves to share her knowledge and see people take pride in their new skills!
